This is totally cool, like what could ever go wrong now right? Cubs are on the cover of Sports Illustrated, they’re calling Wrigleyville “Winnerville” and everything is right in the world. Only a moron would get hot flashes and scroll through their memory for every time this has happened in the past only to end in crippling heartbreak. HA! These Cubs are different you guys, I said so myself, Sports Illustrated can’t scare me. Only a fool would believe in a curse or a team getting overhyped or an entire fanbase letting their expectations soar through the roof. We’re fine, totally fine, so fine it’s scary how fine we are. Yup, fine.
